"To enrich the nation with technology-enabled policy options for equitable growth."

India and China need help to grow, not hectoring

This Opinion piece examines, India and China in the context of energy and sustainability, especially climate change.

The main statements are:
1) India and China are not the same - China is already the global "leader" in energy and emissions
2) Developed nations have more than a moral obligation to reduce emissions first - there is a technical basis as well
3) Our best way forward will be to come up with joint solutions instead of those that address one at the expense of the other
