As a precursor to The UN Climate Change Conference Copenhagen 2009, CSTEP in association with Carnegie Mellon University is organizing an Indo-US Climate Futures Workshop on October 26-27, 2009. This by-invitation-only event will be held at the GRT Temple Bay Resort, near Chennai, India.

The Workshop aims to strategize the technology and policy options for low carbon energy, spanning nuclear power, renewable sources, energy efficiency, and geo-engineering options. The Workshop includes participation by a number of leading scholars and policymakers from the US and India. The agenda and workshop brochure would be uploaded shortly.
