Analytical derivation of explicit J–V model of a solar cell from physics based implicit model
Abstract
Mr. K Subramanya, CEO, TATA BP Solar, presents a Talk at CSTEP
SELCO MODEL of disseminating Solar Solution to Rural India- Dr. Harish Hande,
About the Speaker:
Harnessing Solar Energy: Options for India
The Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM) launched in 2009 has ambitious targets for solar energy for large-scale power generation and to a smaller extent decentralized small-scale applications. Large public outlays are expected towards solar technologies. In this report we analyse the techno-economics of several decentralized solar applications and discuss policy implications. Our study makes a case for decentralized options getting more impetus to help meet the urgent needs for clean energy options of millions.
Leadership on Renewable Energy: Ecomagination Panel Discussion on the National Solar Mission
CSTEP participated in the Ecomagination Panel Discussion held at the Decennial celebrations of GE's Technology Centre in Bangalore, India. Dr. S.S. Krishnan, Principal Research Scientist and Head of the Energy Efficiency and Sustainability Program represented CSTEP, and other participants were from Industry, Industry associations and the World Bank. The panel discussion was telecast on CNBC-TV18 in October 2010.
