Piyush Bhardwaj

Research Scientist

Piyush Bhardwaj is a Research Scientist and heads the Atmospheric Composition Modelling group at CSTEP.

 

He holds a PhD in Atmospheric Sciences from Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES)/Kumaun University, Nanital. He has completed his Master’s in Physics from University of Delhi, and his Bachelor’s  in Physical Sciences from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut.

 

Prior to joining CSTEP, Piyush worked as a post-doctoral fellow at Research Applications Laboratory (RAL), National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), Boulder, USA;  at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), South Korea, and at Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES), India.

 

His areas of interest include atmospheric chemistry transport and weather prediction modelling, satellite-retrieved and ground-based measurements of short-lived climate forcers, and air quality studies.
