Biography

Currently I am working on energy efficiency project.It is all about implementation of market based mechanism to achieve energy efficiency in industrial and thermal power sectors.

I worked on Electricity Market Simulation Game.I have extended this game to show the effect of CO2 emission trading, to reduce the CO2 emission effectively.Under this scheme,Operator sets a cap value for CO2 emission and penalty price for extra emission.All the plants in total should emits a maximum of CO2 equal to Cap value.According to this,some allowances goes to plant's accounts.If a plant emits CO2 more than it's allowance,he is penalized for extra emission.Every year the CO2 cap value is set lower than previous year.Hence effective way of reducing CO2 emission.
