Prof. M A Ramaswamy holds a PhD from California Institute of Technology, USA. Prior to CSTEP, he worked at Aerodynamics Division of National Aerospace Laboratories for more than 25 years and was head of the division for more than 20 years. He played a major role in the design and setting up of 1.2m by 1.2m high-speed blowdown wind tunnel where aerospace models can be tested up to Mach 4 (4 times the speed of the sound).
